House Oversight Chairman James Comer on Monday accused President Joe Biden's White House physician, Dr. Kevin O'Connor, of allegedly being involved in a Biden family “prostitution scheme” on Fox News.
Comer appeared on “Jesse Watters Primetime” to discuss ongoing concerns about Biden's mental health as some Democrats call for him to step down as the party's nominee. Fox host Jesse Watters began by questioning the evidence presented by the Oversight Committee about O'Connor's ties to a previous investigation into Biden's business dealings. “We know that Dr. O'Connor was involved in a shady scheme surrounding the failed health care company Americore Health. This was a deal with Jim Biden. We know this because Jim Biden spoke about it in the transcript of the committee's interview with him. Biden mentioned the White House physician and said the White House physician was his medical advisor. When we asked him why he was involved in a health care scheme when he has no medical background, Biden responded that the White House physician was consulting,” Comer said.
“We didn't pursue that, but we did ask the White House physician to come in. We expect him to come in for a recorded interview, or I will be issuing a subpoena for him for a deposition. In any event, we will be asking a lot of questions about the report that the White House physician issued several months ago that said Joe Biden is in great health.”
“Jesse, the only two people in Washington, DC who want Joe Biden to stay in the race are the Biden family and the White House physician, both of whom have been very problematic with the Biden family influence program,” Comer continued. “It's ironic that we're now seeing media coverage of a cover-up regarding the president's health, which is obvious to all Americans, yet the main players in the cover-up were also involved in the influence program. That's why we want to call in this physician, question him under oath, and make the record public.”
The White House briefing room descended into chaos on Monday as reporters tried to question White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre about releasing details of Biden's medical records. Jean-Pierre acknowledged that a neurologist had examined the president three times but declined to provide details, claiming it was for “security reasons.”
Supervisory Committee sent In a letter to O'Connor on Sunday, the lawmakers called for the doctor to appear before the group and give a recorded interview regarding his medical examination of Biden and Biden's family business dealings, which the lawmakers allege the president used Americore Health LLC and Biden's brother, James Biden, to receive $200,000.
James Biden previously admitted to the committee that he “provided advice” to Dr. O'Connor regarding her alleged work for Americore Inc. The oversight committee said the company was in financial difficulty, so James Biden received $400,000 and a $200,000 “loan” that was deposited directly into his own bank account.
