The House voted Tuesday afternoon in a 221-205 vote to abolish Biden administration regulations that impose taxes on methane emissions for natural gas operators.
On the day the Biden administration fell, the EPA doubled Biden’s disastrous energy policy and imposed a harmful “natural gas tax.”
Today, the house votes for my CRA. This is the first step to undoing this. Please see more @dailycallerhttps://t.co/vhnbd2ibc1

“In November, Americans voted overwhelmingly to lower energy prices, but today House Republicans took another step to fulfill their mission,” Pfluger told the Daily Caller News Foundation in an exclusive statement. “In my latest efforts to reverse Biden’s disastrous energy policy, the House has passed my bill and overridden EPA rules to implement inappropriate natural gas taxes.
“This tax will raise the costs of production, block investment, and raise energy prices across the US. I look forward to working towards a complete repeal of the fundamental law and continuing to implement President Trump’s pro-energy agenda.”
Republican North Dakota Sen. John Hoven has introduced the Companion Act, and the Senate will be holding back a procedural vote to abolish the natural gas tax on Thursday evening. President Donald Trump is expected to sign the abolition of Biden’s natural gas tax following the passage of a resolution in the Senate.
“While American oil and gas producers are focused on continuing to cut emissions, it is important to revoke these punitive implementation rules, but it is important to work with Congress to repeal the legislation underlying taxes that raise energy costs.”We call on the Senate to pass this important CRA Senator companion version and send it to President Trump’s desk so that American energy companies can continue to innovate and produce American needs. ”
