Hunter Biden Claims He Would Forcefully Enter Another Country to Return Undocumented Immigrants to the US

Hunter Biden’s Controversial Statements on El Salvador

In a recent interview, Hunter Biden suggested that if he were to become president, he might pressure the president of El Salvador by threatening military action to ensure the return of illegal immigrants deported there by the U.S. government.

During the Trump administration, several undocumented criminals, including a person convicted of serious crimes, were deported to El Salvador’s Center for Terrorism Confinement (CECOT). In his remarks, Biden described this facility as akin to a “concentration camp,” asserting that he would demand the repatriation of those held there. He expressed disdain for the current conditions, stating, “If you think that Salvador’s prisons aren’t a… concentration camp, you’re out of your mind.” He further questioned the likelihood of rehabilitation for inmates, emphasizing the bleak situation.

Biden articulated a significant message regarding his hypothetical presidency, saying, “How do you get people back from the situation in El Salvador? If I become president, I’ll call the president of El Salvador and say, ‘You’ll send them back or I’ll invade.'” He criticized the El Salvadoran leader, branding him as a “thug” and a “dictator.”

When asked by host Andrew Callahan whether he was referring to Trump or El Salvador’s President Nayib Bukele, Biden replied that he meant both.

In March, the Biden administration moved to expedite the detention and deportation of illegal immigrant gang members in the U.S. after accepting Bukele’s offer to house them in CECOT. However, in May, the Supreme Court blocked the administration from deporting Venezuelan gang members under the alien enemy law—a ruling that has angered some, including former President Trump, who criticized the decision, saying, “The Supreme Court will not allow us to drive criminals out of our country!”
