Hunter Biden States He Will Not Retreat After Melania Trump’s Legal Threat

Hunter Biden Stands Firm on Epstein Remarks

During an appearance on “Andrew Callahan and Channel 5” this past Thursday, Hunter Biden declared that he would not apologize for his previous comments suggesting that the late Jeffrey Epstein had “introduced” him to President Donald Trump. This statement came during an interview with journalist Andrew Callahan.

On August 6, the First Lady’s attorney, Alejandro Brito, announced intentions to pursue legal action for over $1 billion in damages, accusing Biden of making “false, defamatory, and inflammatory statements.” In response to calls for an apology, Biden stated, “it won’t happen,” as he expressed his thoughts on YouTube.

“Forget it,” he remarked, emphasizing his refusal to back down.

Biden maintained that his claims were informed by journalists and authors, particularly citing Michael Wolf. He dismissed the letter from the First Lady’s lawyer, framing it as a “distraction” from the topic of Epstein and the victims involved.

“I think they’re bullies,” he remarked, suggesting that the threat of a billion-dollar lawsuit would not intimidate him. He further challenged the First Lady and the President to engage in a deposition to clarify the dynamics between themselves and Epstein.

This reaction contrasts sharply with others who have received similar letters from the First Lady’s legal team. For instance, Democratic strategist James Kerrville announced on his podcast, “Politics War Room,” on August 7 that he chose to remove a video referencing the relationship between Epstein, the President, and the First Lady following a request from Brito. Kerrville subsequently retracted his earlier statements and issued an apology.

Similarly, the Daily Beast retracted a story from July 30 in which it was claimed that the First Lady had “very involved” ties to Epstein, after being challenged by Brito’s letter concerning the headlines and context of the article.

Brito did not provide an immediate response to requests for comments regarding these developments.
