A Pennsylvania voter named Jackie explained on Friday to enthusiastically support him in 2024 after reluctantly voting for President Donald Trump in 2016.
Trump won Pennsylvania in both 2016 and 2024, but lost a significant federation in 2020. “I was sitting in the president in ’20…hey, but what do you know? I actually love him,” Jackie said. “It was like, ‘I was going to hold my nose and vote for him.’ And the last four years later… I like everything he has to say. ”
Halperin asked if he had ever voted for former Presidents Bill Clinton or Barack Obama. She said she never voted for Clinton, but once voted for Obama.
“You say you love Donald Trump now. What do you list as the reason?” Halperin followed up.
“His perseverance. I didn’t understand the whole thing – a man never gives up,” Jackie said. “I admire it. I admire it.”
Despite facing four criminal cases and almost assassination during the 2024 presidential election, Trump has decisively defeated former vice president Kamala Harris. Like Jackie, MSNBC contributor Sam Stein admitted Trump’s “patience” in December, setting him apart from other politicians who collapsed under such pressure. He said he was.
“I think the real lesson from all of this is to say what you do about Donald Trump, but he has the attributes that distinguish him from others in politics. He often only crushes what other politicians succumb to. And he can understand it, he will just take his way, and he will fight it.
