Billionaire entrepreneur Mark Cuban took to social media Friday to clarify comments he made about former President Donald Trump during an appearance on “The View.”
Cuban apologized after claiming that Trump was “not around strong, intelligent women,” a comment that quickly drew backlash from Trump’s supporters and the former president. Cuban spoke on “The View” about Trump’s Nikki Haley campaign following Haley’s criticism of the president’s campaign, which focused on “bromance and masculinity” rather than a message that would resonate with female voters. She suggested that her distance from him stemmed from her discomfort with intelligent women.
“When I said this during the interview, I didn’t express it exactly as I intended. Therefore, I apologize to anyone who was slighted or upset by my answer. As I said earlier, “It was not about Trump voters, supporters, or employees, now or before,” Cuban wrote to X. There are no excuses. Not every interview can be successful. My skin is thick enough. ”

President Trump responded to Cuban’s remarks, calling Cubans “really stupid men” in a post on X just hours after the show aired.
“A really stupid guy named Mark Cuban, who thinks he’s ‘attractive’ and a total good-for-nothing guy, now openly declares that he doesn’t have any strong women around him. Cuba’s attempt to withdraw may feel familiar to Americans after President Joe Biden recently revealed controversial comments about Trump supporters. When Biden called Trump supporters “trash,” his team quickly tempered his comments, and White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre said Biden was making general remarks about the former president’s base. denied that he was doing it.
“Just to be clear, he’s not calling Trump supporters trash, that’s why he put it out there, what he’s trying to say, what he’s trying to say.
