Former President Donald Trump began his new job Sunday wearing an apron and serving piping hot French fries at a McDonald’s restaurant in Feasterville-Trevose, Pennsylvania.
Trump worked at a fry station and took orders at a drive-thru, video footage of which went viral on his social media show. President Trump’s appearance at the iconic fast food restaurant appeared to be a jab at his opponent, Vice President Kamala Harris, who claims to have worked at McDonald’s while in college. “I’m going because she lied,” he said, accusing Harris of fabricating his role as a fry cook. The New York Post reported.
President Trump addressed reporters after disembarking from a plane in Pennsylvania. “I’m going to get a job at McDonald’s now,” he said. “I really wanted to do this my whole life.”

The spectacle drew a large crowd, with many of his supporters flocking to the venue to dine with the former president. Another video showed Trump preparing for his temporary flycock role, receiving an apron before arriving at the station.

Another video shows the former president handing out bags of food to customers at a drive-thru. “I could do this all day. I don’t care about this job. I love this job. I think I might come back and do it again,” he told other employees.
One customer thanked the former president. “You’re the one who made it possible for ordinary people like us to see you.”
Trump responded, “You’re not normal.”

Meanwhile, Harris continues to claim that she worked at McDonald’s when she was younger. “One of the reasons I talk about working at McDonald’s is because there are people working at McDonald’s in our country who are trying to support their families,” she said, according to the New York Post. .
President Trump’s visit to McDonald’s comes at a critical time in the 2024 election, with Pennsylvania a key battleground state.
