Ingersoll: ‘His Lies Were Unconvincing’: Biden’s Interview Exposes Flaws in His Pardon Story

Greetings, dear reader,

Here we go again. What’s happening in the news?

Can a president really make critical decisions based on public opinion? Well, apart from the rapidly changing scenarios regarding national security, it’s promising to see leaders making such calls daily.

Fortunately, that’s not really an issue with Trump.

But with Biden—does anyone genuinely believe he is consistent?

10:31 PM

Since Joe Biden essentially announced his candidacy through tweets, it’s not surprising he gave key roles to his family, General Mark Milley, and Dr. Anthony Fauci that night.

According to reports, there’s a warrant indicating the president hadn’t personally overseen the production and submission to the DOJ.

Why is that? Probably because he was asleep by then.

Questions surrounding surgeries aren’t solely about the autopen. I believe the president should personally sign important pardons. As referenced, the only instance where Biden’s actual signature was utilized was for Hunter’s pardon.

That was published in December.

I’ll bring it up early on January 20th. Even the usually supportive media were taken aback. Biden issued a late-night pardon for Dr. Fauci, retired General Milley, and a GOP figure suspected of managing dubious foreign funds linked to Hunter.

These pardons were quite unique. They were proactive, marking a pivotal moment in Hunter’s dealings with foreign finances that date back over a decade.

Over the preceding months, there has been a noticeable increase in scrutiny from publications like the New York Times.

Biden rapidly escalated the situation.

“I made all the decisions,” he stated in a phone interview on Thursday.

A friend in conservative media commented he often recounts instances like this.

In discussions with the Times, Biden acknowledged an email thread and a document showing communications leading up to the pardon’s finalization.

First off, it seems UPS and Amazon have better package tracking than the Biden White House does for decision-making.

From my notes on the NYT article:

[The emails] show that Biden’s White House secretary, Feldman, managed the autopen. She wanted to ensure they had a written record of the decision made before using it to document the clemency action.

* (Stephanie Feldman, who handles the warrants and signatures, wasn’t actually present during Biden’s decision-making.) *

According to the aides, the written accounts from the meeting where Biden gave his verbal instructions were referred to as “blurgling.” This draft was prepared by aides to senior advisors present in major meetings, like Jeffrey Zients, Biden’s Chief of Staff, and White House Counsel Mr. Siskel.

Who, by the way, was someone not present in the room during the discussion, as noted from the conference participants’ list. The email indicates that Siskel and Zients relayed and documented what Biden communicated to their teams.

** (It resembles a classic game of telephone. An advisor meets with Biden, then shares notes with the aides, who document and pass it to the secretary.)

The assistant circulated the draft to Siskel, Zients, and other meeting participants, making sure to include everyone present.

And here’s the kicker:

At the January 19th meeting in the Yellow Oval Room at the White House, Biden kept his aide until nearly 10 PM; speaking on these decisions, according to those familiar with the matter.

* (Did Biden really stay “until nearly 10 PM”? Not sure, but it feels likely he was winding down by then.)*

The email reveals an aide to Siskel sent a summary of Biden’s decision from that meeting to Zients’ assistant, copying Siskel at 10:03 PM.

Just three minutes later, Zients hit “All Replies” and stated, “Accepting the use of the autopen for all the following pardons.” **

**(Was the final decision genuinely made at 10:31 PM?)

From my understanding of the NYT piece, they didn’t directly ask him to confirm whether he made the pardon decision until around 11 AM.

The White House seemed to preemptively address a possible investigation into the origins of the pandemic, with Milley allegedly collaborating with China against Trump, all under the cover of night through aides and advisors, stating, “We wanted this.”

And it all circles back to a man known for calling it a day around 2 PM regularly.

Do we genuinely believe Biden is “keeping his entourage” and “until nearly 10 PM”?

Zients’ last email was at 10:31 PM.

Where was Joe?
