limit
– Water wastage from leaks, breakages and malfunctions that are easy to fix. Water must be turned off or repaired within 10 business days of notification.

First Offense: Verbal Notice
Second Violation: Written Notice and Required Water Audit of Facility
3rd offense: Written notice and $100 charge for next water bill
Fourth offense: Written notice and $250 charge for next water bill
5 days or more: Written notice and $500 charge for next water bill
Tier 1 shortage
limit
– All restrictions for normal conditions.
– Hotels and motels shall post notices encouraging water conservation, including options not to launder linens and towels daily.

– Turn off the water when you do not actively use water for brushing teeth, shaving, washing dishes, etc.
– Do not use water to hose or clean buildings or impervious surfaces without a shut-off nozzle.
– Reduce planned watering or make it more efficient
– Practices such as covering pools and spas and replacing toilets, washing machines and dishwashers with high efficiency units.
– Drain pool water into city sewer instead of street
– Correct any leaks, damages or malfunctions within 72 hours of receiving notification
– Restaurants will refrain from serving water unless requested by the customer
– Do not operate the irrigation system between 5:00 am and 6:00 pm
– Odd numbered addresses are not irrigated on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays
– No irrigation for even numbered houses on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays

Second offense: Written notice and $250 charge for next water bill
3rd offense: Written notice and $500 charge for next water bill
4th and subsequent: Written notice and $1,000 charge. The City will suspend water service until a City administrator or designee determines that you have provided reasonable assurance that no future violations will occur. The fee to restore service will be 2.5 times her current fee to start service in the city.
Tier 2 shortage
limit
– All normal conditions and Tier 1 restrictions apply.
– Correctable omissions, breaks or malfunctions must be corrected within 72 hours or upon receipt of notice.
– You cannot use water to wash your car or boat without a positive nozzle or an automatic shut-off nozzle.
– The decorative fountain cannot be operated without a recirculation system.
– Odd numbered addresses may be subject to water on Mondays and Fridays.
– Even addresses may water on Tuesdays and Saturdays.

All penalties for Tier 2 deficiencies are the same as Tier 1.
Lack of Tier 3
limit
– All Normal, Tier 1, and Tier 2 restrictions apply.
– Odd numbered addresses can only be watered on Mondays.
– Even-numbered addresses can only be watered on Wednesdays.
– Water cannot be used to wash automobiles or watercraft without a positive or automatic shut-off nozzle.
– Water from city hydrants may not be used for construction or pest control purposes. (Drinking water can still be used for construction and pest control, but not from city hydrants. The city will also make wastewater available for these purposes.)

Insufficient wet water
limit
– All previous restrictions still apply.
– Do not use potable water to operate the irrigation system
– Do not water the lawn or landscaping with potable water
– Drainage of swimming pools and spas is not permitted. Except in the event of a structural failure of the pool or spa, or as required by state regulations.
– Unable to operate outdoor mist system
penalty
All penalties for lack of wet water are the same as Tier 3.
