of Yavapai County Department of Public Works and Highways recommends that travelers traveling on Iron Springs Road between Skull Valley and Prescott have snow chains on their vehicles or use four-wheel drive depending on icy conditions.
Due to heavy snowfall and low temperatures, roads can become slippery, so we recommend avoiding travel unless absolutely necessary. This recommendation is effective from today, Friday, February 9, 2024, through Sunday morning, February 11, 2024.
Our road specialty division works tirelessly to ensure the safety of all Yavapai County residents. When encountering ice or snow, remember that it's important to take it slow. Take care and stay safe!
