The undisputed king of X, erstwhile Twitter, is back. Well, sort of.
If you've been watching X for any length of time, you undoubtedly noticed a tweet from @realDonaldTrump early Monday morning: “They want to silence me because I will never let them silence you,” Trump wrote in a two-and-a-half-minute campaign video, ending with the hashtag #TrumponX.
They want to shut me up because I will never let them shut you up. They are not after me, they are after you. I just happen to be standing in their way and I will never budge.
We will make America great again! #TrumpOnX

It's a pretty epic comeback. Trump, who was pushed out by power-drunk former Twitter executives, hasn't returned to the platform since 2021. His account was reinstated after Elon Musk bought the company, but by that time Trump had his own social media platform, Truth Social.
It harkens back to Trump's glory days, when liberals cowered in fear of a spiteful tweet and his off-the-cuff remarks drove the morning news cycle every day. Are we heading back to the rebellious halcyon days of old? Deus Ex Machina Will it come in the form of a new mean nickname to be shouted from virtual mountaintops?
Unfortunately, probably not. It may have been tweeted from Trump's account, but it appears to be just an advertisement — a pretty cool one, though. If you go to Trump's actual Twitter profile, you won't see the post, just an algorithmically displayed one in your feed.
But late Monday he The same video again — and this time it appeared on his profile. Within minutes, tweets began flowing, some promoting an upcoming interview with Musk on the platform.
Is it better for you now than it was when I was president?
Our economy is collapsing, our borders have disappeared, our country is in decline.
Make the American Dream Affordable Again. Make America Safe Again. Make America Great Again!

But unfortunately, they all seem to have been targeted campaign messages. Calculated, which isn't a bad thing, but a far cry from the uncensored bombshells he used to drop daily. So it's unlikely we'll see Trump return to the Twitter fray, at least not on a regular basis. But for now, we can look back and enjoy some of his greatest hits.
When he roasted Barney Frank:
Barney Frank looked very uncomfortable in front of Congress in his blue shirt with his nipples sticking out. Very disrespectful.

When we predicted Kristen Stewart's villain storyline:
Robert Pattinson should never forgive Kristen Stewart. She cheated on him like a dog and will do it again. Just watch. He can find someone better!

When he showed his love for Mexican culture:

When he introduced us to “covfefe”:
Does anyone know the true meaning of “covfefe”? Enjoy!

When he put Kim Jong Un in his position:
North Korean leader Kim Jong Un has said, “The nuclear button is always on my desk. Can someone in his regime, where food is running low and food is scarce, please tell him that I also have a nuclear button, but it's much bigger and more powerful than his, and that my button works?”

When he dunked on LeBron:
Lebron James was just interviewed by the dumbest man on television, Don Lemon. He made Lebron look smart, which is not easy. I love Mike!

When he declared himself to be a “highly stable genius”:
…to become President of the United States (first attempt). I would say he is more of a genius than a clever one…and a very stable genius at that!

And of course, on January 6th, when he called on everyone to “stay peaceful.”
Please support the Capitol Police and law enforcement. They truly are on the side of our country. Stay peaceful!
