Michigan Democratic Rep. Rashida Tlaib lost her temper during Thursday’s protests against the Biden administration’s rapid push for a critical natural gas pipeline after the debt ceiling was passed.
The approval of the Mountain Valley pipeline came as part of a deal to raise the debt ceiling agreed between Mr. Biden and House Speaker Kevin McCarthy. The $6.6 billion pipeline will run about 300 miles through West Virginia. according to The Mountain Valley Pipeline Project faced years of delays due to an environmental review.

‘The One and Only Rashida Traib Has Arrived at the White House’ Environmental Group Climate Defiance tweeted. “In an air that stifles us, in a climate that is on the brink of collapse, she is calling on the president to declare a climate emergency and shut down the Mountain Valley Pipeline.”
In his rant, Traib accused conservatives of pointing out the widespread use of coal for power generation by China and India.
“Right-wing people say, ‘Well, China always gets this, India and others…’ What are you saying?! That’s what you’re supposed to talk about. No way!” Traib said in another video clip. Posted on Twitter.

Climate change opponents disrupted Tuesday’s event at which West Virginia Senator Joe Manchin celebrated the approval of the pipeline.
