‘It’s Pretty Bloody Rich’: Piers Morgan, Dave Rubin Tear Into Dem Strategist For Playing ‘Dementia Card’ On Trump

British host Piers Morgan and political podcaster Dave Rubin on Monday criticized Democratic strategist Amecia Cross for claiming that former President Donald Trump has dementia.

Republicans have been questioning President Joe Biden’s mental health for nearly three years, with lawmakers increasingly concerned after Biden’s disastrous debate against Trump in June. On “Piers Morgan Uncensored,” Cross asked why Democrats “can’t pursue” Trump’s mental health, saying the former president can no longer “serve his sentence,” stop, or “make sense.” He claimed that he could not even “understand” it.

Before Mr. Rubin could allow Mr. Cross to rebut his remarks, Mr. Morgan interjected, accusing the party of “hiding” Mr. Biden’s medical condition from the American people for “two years.”

“What I mean about this is, frankly, the Democrats are pretty rich. After hiding Joe Biden’s condition from the American public for two years, he has apparently developed early stage dementia.” “It’s pretty extravagant to play the dementia card on Trump, who basically puts on a two-hour rock show on stage almost every night,” Morgan said.

“I would go beyond that. They didn’t cover this up two years ago, it was before he became president,” Rubin said. “I was making a video about this in 2019. Whether he has dementia or Parkinson’s disease or whatever, Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer and probably Barack Obama are definitely going to have Kamala… It’s true that it was Harris — they put him in office, and I’m talking about Joe Biden, and they basically threatened him with the 25th Amendment. Because Joe Biden basically said on The View that he still thinks he’s capable and that he’s going to beat Donald Trump. , we know this to be true.”

Rubin went on to criticize the “absurdity” of Kloss’ claims, pointing out how Trump has conducted interviews, podcasts and rallies on the campaign trail. (Related: CNN’s Harry Enten says even if Harris leads in early voting, Trump will likely “close the gap” on Election Day)

clock:

“I was going to say the absurdity, the patent absurdity, Donald Trump was back there basically a day after he got shot,” Rubin continued. “Who’s doing more interviews? Mainstream podcasts are[s]and everything else – jumping around and crazy rallies.

“That guy, I don’t know if you like him or not, but whether you like him or not, you know what that guy is thinking, and he does it many times.” I’m also happy to explain to you that the idea that after they pulled Biden out, he’s already too old is so hypocritical,” Ruben added.

Before the Biden-Trump debate began, Democrats consistently defended the president’s mental health, often calling him “sharp” and praising his cognitive abilities. But after the June 27 debate, when Biden was seen on national television freezing mid-sentence and struggling to finish his sentence, Democrats doubted that Biden would be able to serve another four years in office. I started to doubt whether I would be able to do it.

Biden insisted his withdrawal was “in the best interest of our party and our country,” but pressure from Democratic lawmakers and donors was mounting. By mid-July, numerous House and Senate Democrats had called on Biden to withdraw from the 2024 campaign, and additional donors withdrew funding.
