‘Joe Biden Calls To Say Hi’: Jonathan Turley Reacts To ‘Breathtaking’ Revelations From Archer Testimony

Jonathan Turley, a law professor at George Washington University, called the revelations in Devon Archer’s testimony Monday about the Biden family business deals “breathtaking.”

Archer, a former business partner of Hunter Biden, told the House Oversight Committee before turning himself in to serve time. Archer was sentenced to one year and one day in federal prison in March 2022 for fraud involving Native American tribes. Rep. Marjorie Taylor-Green said Archer said before the committee that President Joe Biden had discussed business deals with Hunter “more than 20 times.”

“They’re breathtaking. I’m talking about at least about 20 phone calls that then-Vice President Joe Biden had with Hunter Biden’s business people,” Turley said. said. “We were talking about meetings and dinners with some of Europe’s most corrupt figures when Joe Biden called me and said ‘hi.’ Then out of the blue the Vice President called me, and despite the denials of many Democrats, I can no longer ignore it.”

The young Biden pleaded not guilty to all charges after U.S. District Judge Marielen Noreika rejected both the original plea bargain and a more limited amendment on Wednesday, and the plea deal collapsed.

Turley targeted Congressional Democrats, especially after Democrat Rep. Dan Goldman attempted to downplay a phone call with then-Vice President Biden.

“At some point, it becomes an insult to the intelligence of voters. We are looking at one of the most significant corruption scandals in our nation’s history,” Turley said. “I have criticized the propaganda of influence for decades. We’ll have to see. So far, there hasn’t been much input from Democrats.”
