Samantha Lawrence has filed for divorce from '80s heartthrob Joey Lawrence and is seeking sole custody of their young daughter.

According to court documents filed in August, Samantha Lawrence ended her two-year marriage, citing “irreconcilable differences.” TMZSamantha also asked the court to place some major restrictions on visitation between Joey, best known for starring in the hit '80s sitcom “Blossom,” and her daughter, Dylan.

According to court documents, Samantha and Joey separated in June, and TMZ reports that she checked a box to prevent the court from awarding spousal support to either party.

According to TMZ, she is seeking full and sole custody of her daughter and has requested that Joey be allowed to see the child only at his own discretion.

According to TMZ, the docs claim that Samantha will wait until Dylan is three years old to stay with his father, and that she will only be allowed to do so two nights a week.

Samantha is trying to block Joey from taking Dylan for any extended periods of time until she is old enough to consent to such visits. According to TMZ, Samantha is also trying to refuse to allow anyone outside of her family to be near Dylan during visits with his father unless she chooses to allow such visits at her discretion.

Joey and Samantha met while filming a movie in 2020, got engaged in August 2021, and married in May 2022.

Samantha has reportedly unfollowed Joey on social media in recent weeks and removed most mentions of him from her social media accounts. (RELATED: Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck are officially divorced)

It is unclear what caused the breakdown of their marriage; neither have spoken publicly about it.
