verde valley news – Jordan Ross, a local painter and mixed media artist whose work has been featured in multiple juried and solo exhibitions, has been named the Yavapai College Sedona/Verde Valley OLLI Program’s Artist of the Month for March I got it.

Yavapai College OLLI will honor Ross with an opening reception in the lobby of YC's Sedona Center on Wednesday, March 6 from 2 to 4 p.m. The reception is free and open to the public. We will provide light snacks.

A multi-award winner, Jordan Ross trained in Canada, Honolulu, Sedona, and San Miguel de Allende, Mexico. “My work in mixed media and assemblage was motivated by the need to explore new ideas and techniques,” she says. “Using discarded materials, unusual tools, and a playful attitude, each piece has a life of its own and emerges intuitively in its own way.”

Ross' work will be on display at the Sedona Center, 4215 Arts Village Drive, Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. through April 30.
