Last month, Britt helped introduce the Kids Off Social Media Act, which would ban children under the age of 13 from using social media and block teenagers' use of addictive algorithms.

“There's no doubt that our nation is facing a youth mental health crisis that is inextricably linked to the increased use of social media by children and teens,” Britt said when introducing the bill. “Families are being torn apart and futures destroyed in every corner of our country. I will continue to work with my colleagues in both parties to enact the commonsense, age-appropriate solutions we need to address the challenges of this generation.”
