Lake Havasu City Council Election Packets Available

The City of Lake Havasu would like to announce that a packet containing the information, forms, documents and petitions necessary for Lake Havasu City residents to run for City Council in the fall election is available.

Three City Council seats are on the ballot in the fall primary election to be held on August 6, 2024. These seats are currently held by City Councilor Nancy Campbell, City Councilor David Lane, and Deputy Mayor Cameron Moses.

Candidates may contact the City Clerk's Office at (928) 453-4142 at any time during normal business hours to make an appointment to pick up the packet directly from the City Clerk's Office.

Candidates must be 18 years of age or older at the time of filing their nomination papers, be eligible to vote in the City of Lake Havasu, and have resided within the incorporated limits of the City for at least one year prior to the election.

All properly executed documents, including nomination petitions with at least 625 signatures and no more than 1,249 signatures, must be submitted to City Hall by March 9, 2024, but no later than April 8, 2024. It won't.
