Mojave County, Arizona (April 12, 2023) – In 2017, Mojave County completed soil stabilization and hard surfacing of Legend Ranch Road from Colorado Road to US-93. The project will conveniently connect Golden Valley and Mineral Park, saving a driver traveling between points north of 7-Golden Valley and U.S. Route 93 miles and his 5-minute travel distance and travel time. increase.
After the Legend Ranch Road opened, more than 500 vehicles operated each day. However, the convenience of this route led to heavy heavy truck traffic, especially when his US 93 Coyote Pass was jammed. Legend Ranch Road will be open to traffic after this work is completed by mid-May. The road will also operate with a reduced speed limit of 35 mph.
Public works will complete the necessary heavy maintenance work balance in the fall of 2023 so that the summer monsoon season does not impede work progress and results.
