House Republicans celebrated the impeachment of Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas on social media Tuesday night.
The House voted 214-213 to impeach Mayorkas. Vote after agreeing rethink resolution. “The House Homeland Security Committee's investigation and subsequent impeachment proceedings have proven beyond any doubt that Secretary Mayorkas intentionally and systematically refused to comply with U.S. law and betrayed the public's trust.” said Republican Congressman Mark Green of Tennessee, who is the head of the House of Representatives.
