Liberal Radio Host Charlamagne Tha God Says Biden Lacks ‘Main Character Energy’

Radio host Charlamagne Tha God said in an interview on ABC News' “This Week” on Sunday that President Joe Biden lacks “protagonist energy.”

Charlamagne told co-anchor Jonathan Karl that he doesn't think Biden is a strong presidential candidate and that it will take other people in the administration for the incumbent president to win a second term in the White House. He suggested that I should rely on him.

“He's just an uninspiring candidate,” Charlamagne told Karl. “There's nothing about Joe Biden that makes me want to listen to him.”

“That's why he should rely on Vice President Kamala Harris, who is much more charismatic than he is,” he said.

The “Breakfast Club” co-hosts named Democratic California Gov. Gavin Newsom and Democratic Pennsylvania Gov. Josh Shapiro among the people Biden should rely on throughout his re-election campaign. The California governor has aired political ads and in November 2023 participated in a debate on Fox News with Republican Florida Governor Ron DeSantis. But Newsom denied his interest in running for president in 2024. (Related article: 'Donald Trump is not Adolf Hitler': Bill Maher accuses media of overhyping the 2024 election)

“I think he should rely on people who are more inspirational and charismatic than he is and be the brains of the behind-the-scenes operations, if you want to call it that,” Charlamagne said of Biden. he said. “It seems strange that we would say such things about an American president. But he has none of the energy of a protagonist. None.”

Charlamagne the God further criticized former President Donald Trump, telling Karl that the Republican front-runner is a “threat to democracy.” ABC News report. He said Republicans are “crooks” and Democrats are “cowards” because of “voter apathy.”

“This is the first time in my life I've ever been told that this person is a threat to democracy. That's absolutely true,” Charlamagne told Karl. “And I'm appalled that no one is taking this issue as seriously as I think.”
