Rumors of Trump’s Death Debunked by His Golf Appearance
On Friday night, liberal critics spread false rumors on social media regarding President Donald Trump’s death. However, he made an appearance Saturday morning for a round of golf with his granddaughter, dispelling those claims.
The hashtags #trumpisdead and #whereistrump trended on X throughout Friday night after Trump had not been seen in public since a cabinet meeting on Wednesday. Searches on Google for “Trump Dead” surged.
Rick Wilson from the Lincoln Project commented on X Saturday, referencing the trending hashtags and poking fun at JD Vance’s frequent presence around Trump. It seems the rumors were quickly dismissed.
Ben Meiselas, co-founder of the liberal media outlet Meidastouch, also criticized the speculation. He expressed confusion over the online chatter about Trump’s absence, as users claimed he was unresponsive since Wednesday.

Trump was spotted Saturday morning at 8:45 AM, dressed in a white polo and his trademark red hat, as he made his way to a golf club in Sterling, Virginia. His granddaughter, Kite Ramp, assisted him into the car, putting an end to the speculation.
While conspiracy theorists were absorbed in their narratives, Trump actually conducted an hour-long exclusive interview in the Oval Office on Friday. In the discussion, he addressed strategies to end the Russia-Ukraine conflict and mentioned the possibility of providing limited support to European nations for peace efforts. “If we can help without heavily investing, we will,” he stated during the interview.
The president also used Truth Social to comment on a Federal Court of Appeals ruling regarding tariffs, further countering the death rumors that some critics were eagerly sharing.
