Lori Vallow booked into Maricopa County jail

Lori Vallow Daybell is facing multiple murder charges in Arizona after being convicted in Idaho.

PHOENIX — Lori Vallow Daybell was extradited from Idaho and booked into the Maricopa County Jail, the sheriff's office said on its website. She faces two counts of conspiracy to commit murder here in Arizona.

The so-called “Doomsday Mom” ​​was recently sentenced to three consecutive life sentences in an Idaho prison for the murders of her two children, Tylee and JJ. She was also convicted of conspiracy to commit murder in the death of her husband's first wife, Tammy Daybell.

She was charged a second time in Arizona with conspiring to murder her niece's ex-husband. She was previously charged in 2021 with conspiring to murder her fourth husband, Charles Vallow, in Chandler.

Idaho's governor signed extradition papers in October, allowing Valor-Daybell to return to Arizona once the appeals process in Idaho is complete.

In Maricopa County, Maricopa County Sheriff Paul Penzone said at a news conference that Vallow-Daybell will not be housed with the general public and will be isolated in a high-security area of ​​the jail.

Her husband, Chad Daybell, has also been charged with murder and is still awaiting trial in Idaho. It is scheduled to begin April 1, 2024 in Ada County.

Vallow's first court hearing is scheduled for Thursday, Dec. 7, but she is not eligible for bail.
