Yuma — Yuma County Supervisor Lynne Pankraj has been elected as the 2025 Chair of the County Supervisors Association (CSA) Board of Directors.
Outgoing President Stephen Q. Miller congratulated Coach Pankraj, saying, “Coach Pankraj is a great local leader and will be a great president. We are particularly prepared to work with state leaders on these issues. Congratulations, Superintendent Pankraj.”
“Coach Miller, you’re going to be a difficult president to follow!” Supervisor Pankraj thanked Supervisor Miller, saying “Your candor, diligence, and way of setting the flow of a meeting are admirable.” You are very knowledgeable about water, roads, infrastructure, etc. I look forward to your continued experience on the Executive Committee.”
Supervisor Pankraj thanked his colleagues and said, “I am excited to lead the county in partnership with the Legislature to advance the goals of all 15 Arizona counties.”
As CSA President, Supervisor Pankraj will lead the organization’s Board of Directors in 2025 and develop strategies to strengthen Arizona counties at the state and federal level.
She also chairs CSA’s Legislative Policy Committee, a group of 15 supervisors that meets weekly during the legislative session to process policy proposals, and has additional duties supporting all 15 counties. We plan to carry out this project.
She joins Apache County Supervisor Alton Shepherd, Pima County Supervisor Rex Scott, Yavapai County Supervisor Mary Mallory, Graham County Supervisor Paul David, and former President and Pinal County Supervisor Government official Stephen Q. Miller has joined the organization’s executive leadership team.
CSA is an intergovernmental partnership of 15 counties in Arizona. All 61 superintendents in the state serve on CSA’s board of directors. The association serves as a forum for county leaders to address important issues facing local residents and foster partnerships.
