Graham County – A man who said he was trying to burn bees with a WD-40 can and a lighter accidentally burned down a single-wide trailer on Sunday.
First responders were dispatched to the S. Cheyenne Drive structure fire at approximately 5:33 a.m., according to reports from the Graham County Sheriff’s Office.
A man who came into contact said he accidentally set fire to the trailer while trying to burn the bees.
The trailer was completely engulfed on arrival and was a total loss, but no injuries were reported. The Safford Fire Department put out the fire and prevented it from spreading. The man advised that the trailer was meant to be destroyed.
However, the trailer belongs to a different person than the man who started the fire. The owner was then contacted by the police, who told him he knew and that there was nothing of value inside.
