Cushman & Wakefield brokered the sale of Elevate at Dunlap, a four-story, 93,661-square-foot single-tenant office building located at 2233 W. Dunlap Ave., for $11.3 million. At the time of the sale, the center was unmanned.
According to a press release, the property was acquired by Maricopa County and the seller was D23, LLC, an Arizona limited liability company.
With Michael Kitlicka, Jerry Roberts, Pat Boyle cushman & wakefield of Phoenix represented the seller in the transaction, and Keith Ramersen of Jones Lang LaSalle represented the buyer, the release states.
“Maricopa County acquired this facility for regional public health functions to further strengthen our efforts within the county. This asset will ultimately be home to hundreds of county employees. “We understand this is essential to revitalizing the Metro Center submarket and are excited about it,” said Michael Kitlicka, Senior Director.
The Dunlap Elevator was built in 1988, but underwent a multi-million dollar renovation several years ago. The property sits on more than six acres, features a two-story parking garage, and is also located across from the Dunlap Avenue light rail stop.
