PHOENIX — The Maricopa County Home and Landscaping Show returns to State Farm Stadium in Glendale this weekend, bringing home improvement, landscaping and DIY professionals together with their talents to educate and entertain area residents.
Friday to Sunday, The Southwest's Largest Home Show It offers attractions and seminars that will inspire people of all ages.
The air-conditioned indoor summer event will run daily from 10am to 5pm.

“The show is bigger than ever before, with more than 1,000 exhibit booths, children's workshops, educational seminars, free food and drink samples, gardening workshops and more, there's really something for everyone,” show manager Katie Jones said in a press release.
The show has been connected to the local community since 1992.
Exhibitors and Home Show Exclusive
The show's more than 1,000 exhibitors, from AAA Plus Flooring to Zipfizz Corp., will offer exclusive sales on a wide range of products, including cabinets, windows, interior décor and artificial turf.

Learning Opportunities and Seminars
After paying the admission fee, participants are free to browse several “see and learn” content.
In the “Ask a Master Gardener” zone, visitors can learn the basics of gardening, including how to care for and prune different types of vegetables and succulents.
For those interested in revamping their backyard, a complimentary landscaping consultation valued at an estimated $350 will be provided to event attendees.
DIYers can get tips from Maricopa County experts on how to organize clutter and make the most of their living space.
For those interested in home improvement and best practices, you can also browse a wide variety of paints and flooring materials.
Hands-on activities for both adults and children
Guests can choose from multiple Free “make and take home” craft workshops.
For example, creating a custom plant terrarium or learning 3D printing techniques.
Children ages 3 to 12 can take part in the “Kids' Corner,” where Pinterest-inspired crafts will be prepared for you.
One such craft, “Family Hands,” is offered daily at 2:30 p.m., where up to five family members can participate in making handprints on a acrylic panel, an activity to celebrate and preserve a moment in their family's history.
The show offers nine different craft experiences.
Food replicas and food seminars
Attendees can enjoy complimentary food and drink samples, including artisan cheeses, wines and sausages.
Three summer-themed cooking seminars will be held for novice and expert cooks alike.
These include how to make an agua fresca cocktail, how to become a barbecue master, how to make authentic tortillas, and more.
A larger food court menu will also be available for purchase inside State Farm Stadium.
Jones said the show will feature reusable tote bags made from recycled home show signs.
Participants can purchase these bags, supporting the county's mission to reduce waste in surrounding landfills.
Admission fees and how to get free tickets
Tickets are $6 for adults 13 and over and free for children 12 and under.
Admission is $4 for teachers and military personnel with valid ID.
Admission drops to $3 after 2pm on Fridays and Sundays.
On Fridays from 10 a.m. to noon, seniors age 60 and older can purchase tickets for $4.

You can get two free tickets by donating a new backpack (with the barcode still attached), or you can get one free ticket by donating five of the following items: a four-pack of glue sticks, a box of 12 ballpoint pens, a box of 12 No. 2 pencils, a box of 12 colored pencils, a box of 8 water-based markers, a box of 16 crayons, a pack of four dry erase markers, a single-subject spiral bound notebook, a pack of loose-leaf notebook paper, a pack of 10 pocket folders, or Scotch tape.
All donations will be accepted at Gate 2, Maricopa County Students.
