Phoenix — A massive home show with a variety of seminars and attractions returns to Glendale this weekend.
of Maricopa County Home and Landscape Show It takes place Friday through Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at State Farm Stadium.
The event includes several attractions included in the admission price, including home improvement seminars, gardening and cooking classes, and food and drink tastings.
“Local experts will provide tips on home organization, flooring selection, discussion panels with solar experts, and more,” show manager Katie Jones said in a press release.
“Everyone will come home with an inspiration for their home. That’s what makes the Maricopa County Homes and Landscapes show so special.”
General admission to the event is $10, children ages 3-12 are $3, and children 2 and under do not need a ticket. Parking for indoor events is free.
With children returning to school soon, the Home & Garden Show will offer free admission through donations of various school supplies.
Visitors who want to help the students can donate a backpack (with a barcode attached) to receive two free admission tickets.
Customers who donate 5 of the following school supplies will receive an admission ticket: 4 packs of glue sticks, 12 packs of ballpoint pens, 1 box of No. 2 pencils, cellophane tape, 1 pack of loose-leaf notebook paper and 10 pack of pocket folders.
