Maricopa County is hosting free legal information clinics in May

Many people come to the Law Library Resource Center for help, but those in need may not be able to get to one of Maricopa County’s four libraries.

To bring law library resources closer to the communities we serve, the Law Library Resource Center, part of the Maricopa County Department of Justice, Arizona, runs free legal information and navigation clinics at public libraries around the Valley. is held.

Clinics are open to the general public who need assistance in navigating the court system. While there, the public can get help in English and Spanish with court papers such as divorce, paternity, child support, guardianship, and protection orders.

Upcoming clinics are:

  • It will be held on May 17 from 10 am to 1 pm at the Buckeye Public Library, 21699 W. Yuma Road #116, Buckeye.
  • May 23, 12:00pm to 2:30pm at the Tolleson Public Library, 9055 W. Van Buren St, Tolleson.

Court officials can assist with the preparation of court documents, but cannot provide legal advice. For those interested, staff at the Law Library Resource Center can provide guidance and information about free and low-cost legal resources available in the community.
