According to court documents, Lake’s attorney wrote that her allegations were “substantiated, raised in good faith, and in the public interest.” The documents also state that Hobbes’ attorney’s allegations of sanctions were “not supported by case law or the record,” and that the overall litigation “stretches confidence in the electoral process by punishing those who make valid claims as plaintiffs.” I do not support the ,” he stressed.
