Mia Farrow Criticizes Republicans Following Minnesota Shooting

Mia Farrow Reacts to Minnesota Mass Shooting

Actress Mia Farrow drew attention to the Republican Party and the National Rifle Association (NRA) following the devastating mass shootings in Minnesota.

The incident, according to Minneapolis Police Chief Brian O’Hara, resulted in the deaths of two children and left 17 others injured during a Catholic school event. While many focused on the tragedy, Farrow used the opportunity to express her political stance.

In a post dated August 27, she wrote, “Today. Children. Shot. Two children who died. Seven children in critical condition. High-speed guns. 14 children and three adults were injured.”

Farrow emphasized, “We desperately needed reasonable gun laws. Many Republican lawmakers received large sums of money (millions of bribery) from the gun makers and the NRA.”

Her posts invited public reactions, and shortly after, she shared additional thoughts on the situation in Gaza.

Reports indicate that the shooter, identified as Robin Westman, took his own life during the attack. It was noted that he was armed with multiple firearms as he approached the church before 8:30 a.m. Sources mentioned he claimed to be transgender.

In a quick response to the incident, President Donald Trump issued a declaration to honor the victims of the shootings in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

Farrow, who gained fame from the 1960s soap opera “Peyton Place” and roles in films like 1974’s “The Great Gatsby,” continues to advocate for stricter gun control amidst these tragedies.
