A former Canyon del Oro landmark Miia Campos Campos, a sophomore infielder at Regis University, was named RMAC Player of the Week for her efforts.

Former Sabino outstanding player Antonio Fernandez (McPherson College) was named KCAC Baseball Player of the Week after having two hits, three home runs, and an 8-16 at-bat in all four games he played. He also finished with two doubles with 11 RBIs with a 1.188 slugging percentage.

Former Tucson High School Outstanding Athlete Landin Lewis Winner of the 2022 Player Development Award from the Southwest Section of the PGA. Lewis is the Director of Player Development for Tucson City Golf. This award recognizes his PGA professionals for their exceptional exemplary contributions and achievements in the field of player development.
