County officials plan to increase attendance at several public events throughout this year, and the Mohave County Board of Supervisors will decide next week whether to waive county park admission fees for those events.
Davis to increase attendance at events such as the “Show and Shine” car event at Davis Camp and the summer arts and crafts fair, according to a proposal by Mohave County Parks Director Jeremy Palmer. The $10 admission fee may be waived for camping and Hualapai Mountain Park. Hualapai Mountain Park, and National Trails Day events at Hualapai Mountain Park.
Davis Camp in Bullhead City will host a “Show and Shine” car show on March 23 as the Parks Department actively seeks sponsors to help offset the cost of the event.
The Summer Arts and Crafts Fair at Hualapai Mountain Park is scheduled for June 2nd, July 7th, and August 4th.
Hualapai Mountain Park will also be participating in National Trails Day on June 1st.
The Mohave County Board of Supervisors is scheduled to vote on whether to waive park fees for each day of these events at its next board meeting in Kingman on Monday.
