This week, two U.S. Marines on shore leave from the USS Wasp Assaulted It happened on the streets of Izmir, Turkey, where soldiers' heads were put into bags as they struggled with insurgents — a scene they will never forget — and, incredibly, in an ally that the United States is obligated to protect and defend under the NATO Treaty Organization.
But do not worry, my fellow citizens. American soldiers may be attacked in the streets of our NATO allies, and American civilians may be attacked in the streets of our NATO allies. He was taken hostage and murdered A US-flagged ship was destroyed by Hamas terrorists in Gaza. Under attack — but our commander in chief is working this case from the shores of Delaware.
Admittedly, we haven't heard much from the president about these incidents. Under Joe Biden's administration, American troops around the world are scrutinized and provoked on a daily basis, but he will probably order his deputy spokesperson for Middle East affairs to issue a strongly worded statement.
The contrast with President Donald Trump's hands-on approach to diplomacy could not be greater. (Related: Morgan Murphy: Biden may spawn a new generation of Republicans)
Critics of Trump's foreign policy hate his tough talk. They ridicule his capitalized declarations. He warned North Korea “You will be met with fire, fury and, frankly, power like this world has never seen before,” they said. Old Glory tweeted: After the US military assassinated Iranian top commander Qassem Soleimani, they Vow to “Eradicate” Taliban leader Abdul Ghani Baradar questioned Trump about whether any Americans were harmed during the troop withdrawal in Afghanistan. Many of Trump's opponents believe it was disrespectful and vulgar for Trump to show Baradar spy satellite photos of his home and country. Vladimir Putin promised If Russia invades Ukraine, the United States will attack Moscow.
They conclude that the lack of new wars under the Trump administration was due to beginner's luck.. Trump's Israel and Middle East Peace Diplomatic Efforts? By chance. Has President Trump's “maximum pressure” campaign and oil-friendly policies reduced terrorism by Iranian proxies? Irrelevant. Slow down North Korea conducting missile tests under the Trump administration? Well.
Foreign policy makers in Washington, DC, find it hard to believe that a real estate developer from Queens could play – and win – an epic game on the global diplomatic chessboard. (Related article: Morgan Murphy: Biden again has no strategy for Ukraine. Where is the money going?)
What's the secret? Other world leaders may ridicule Trump (and by extension, the American people), but they fear him. And they know he will follow through on his promises. The Washington elites don't like it, but Trump speaks without vague diplomatic jargon and delivers a message America's enemies can understand.
Under Biden, the Blob is on the rise again, and the results speak for themselves. This week's attack on the crew of the USS Wasp was claimed by the Turkish Youth Union (TGB), which pinned the video to the top of the X's feed. This is not their first attack on a US Navy sailor. In 2011, they put a bag over a sailor's head in Bodrum. They did the same to sailors from the USS Ross in 2014. To the Airmen 2016.
Is it a coincidence that attacks occurred under the Obama and Biden administrations but not under the Trump administration? I'll let you be the judge.
