MSNBC analyst Lisa Rubin on Saturday defended Trump attorney Alina Haba from her “deeply misogynistic” comments about her breasts.
Rubin cited frequent MSNBC guest George Conway for making veiled social media comments about Haba's appearance and intelligence after the lawyer defended Trump in the E. Jean Carroll defamation case. Reacted to the post.
“I was going to tweet 'Silicon isn't getting smarter' in response to what you see here, but I thought better of it and decided not to. I won't say who I was talking about,” Conway wrote to X.

Rubin told Conway: “In a world where misogyny remains so prevalent, shaming women for their appearance and aesthetic choices is the most important thing to do when directed at women loyal to Donald Trump. It's just as uncool as if it were applied to allies.”
In this still deeply misogynistic world, shaming women for their appearance and aesthetic choices is no more true when directed at women loyal to Donald Trump than it is toward E. Jean Carroll and her allies. Equally uncool. 2/

Rubin agreed with Conway that breast implants “may not make anyone smarter,” but countered that “they don't make anyone stupid or weak.” Conway declined to specifically name the target of the attack.
