The Navajo County Sheriff's Office on Wednesday executed multiple search warrants in Joseph City and Phoenix in connection with the search for missing 17-year-old Jarrett Brooks. The boy had been missing since the morning of July 4 from his home in Joseph City, just west of Holbrook on Interstate 40. Brooks was last seen around 6:30 a.m. in the 4400 block of Boyce Drive in Joseph City, and the sheriff's office said it was one of hundreds of cases turned over to detectives since Brooks went missing. I have been investigating information and clues. To date, none have provided reliable information and no arrests have been made. The investigation is focused on computer forensics and cyber communications related to Brooks' disappearance. He is described as a white male, 6 feet tall, 140 pounds, with blonde hair and brown eyes. His family said they believe he left the area in a car that morning and was found at Holbrook and Winslow. NCSO asks anyone with information regarding Brooks' whereabouts or welfare to call the office at (928) 524-4450.
