Yavapai County has announced the appointment of Tyler Goodman as Deputy County Manager, effective July 26, 2024.
Tyler Goodman has been appointed Yavapai County Deputy County Administrator.
Goodman brings a wealth of experience to the City of Prescott, having served in a variety of leadership roles throughout his tenure with the city, including interim mayor and deputy mayor since 2016.
Goodman joined the city in 2016 after completing a Church mission in Argentina and earning a degree in political science from Brigham Young University and one in public administration from Arizona State University. He is a member of the International Association of City and County Supervisors and the Arizona Association of City and County Supervisors.
“Tyler will be a great asset to the county just as he has been to the city. I am confident he will be an excellent leader and a great asset as we continue to move the county forward,” Yavapai County Mayor Maury Thompson said.
