At the Yavapai County Board of Supervisors' regular meeting held on January 3, 2024, the Board unanimously voted to accept the County Manager's recommendation to appoint Jamie Rush as the new Yavapai County Clerk.

Yavapai County Manager Maury Thompson told the board, “I have been very impressed with Jamie, her abilities, and her professionalism from day one.'' By posting this position, we are “testing the market.'' Could you say “It was?” I interviewed other applicants who were qualified for the job. I'm happy to be here this morning to let you know that we have the perfect person for this job here. office. ” This motion was seconded by Supervisor Donna Michaels.

Jamie Rush said: “I would like to thank the Board, the County Manager, and the Assistant Manager. I am honored to have been appointed to the position of Board Secretary and look forward to the opportunity to continue working with you, your staff, and the residents of Yavapai County.” I am grateful for what you have given me.”

Mr. Jamie has been with the county since 2011 and has held the position of deputy clerk of the board since January 2017.
