As reported by TMZ, a newly released video shows the final moments of Florida rapper Julio Julio, who was shot and killed on June 23.
Surveillance camera footage captured Furio's shooting in Tampa, which took place just two days after Furio's 26th birthday. The footage showed gunmen ambushing Furio's black car in a parking lot shared by a Hilton and a Holiday Inn. according to According to TMZ, at 4:37 a.m., a masked gunman ran through the parking lot carrying what appeared to be a semi-automatic rifle.

The gunman opened fire on the vehicle as it attempted to make its getaway. The car crashed into a curb as it fled the scene, and TMZ reports that while the video shows what appear to be other shooters, only one was seen firing at close range. The attack left the rapper dead and three people inside the vehicle with non-life-threatening injuries. The gunman was able to get away, and Tampa Police have not released any updates on the ongoing investigation.

Furio, a Jacksonville native, was in town to enjoy a post-birthday celebration with friends. Furio shared details on Instagram shortly before the attack, and that he had moved from an Airbnb to a hotel, TMZ reported. Following her son's violent death, Furio's mother released a statement, acknowledging his controversial lifestyle and announcing plans to release a documentary about his life.
