The Coconino County Elections Department is proud to announce that it has been selected as one of 21 recipients of the Help America Vote College Program (HAVCP) grant from the U.S. Election Assistance Commission (EAC).

This $10,000 grant is designed to increase civic participation and engagement on college campuses by encouraging students to serve as election officials. This grant will support poll worker recruitment efforts through activities such as National Poll Worker Hiring Day and Help America Vote Day.

In collaboration with the Northern Arizona University United Students (ASNAU) “NAU Votes! Coalition,” the Coconino County Elections Department is launching the “I Voted” sticker challenge. County residents and students can submit designs online until April 19th. The public will then have the opportunity to vote for their favorite design from April 22nd to May 3rd. The winning sticker design will be featured in his upcoming 2024 election.

“We are thrilled that residents have the opportunity to design an “I Voted” sticker for our county. It is critical that these stickers represent Northern Arizona's vibrant and diverse culture and the importance of voting,” said Coconino County Elections Director Esril Musta.
