Among conservative commentators, Vice President Kamala Harris Speech at the Democratic National Convention Last night's speech was a complete farce. In 37 minutes, Harris failed to offer any significant policy solutions or a powerful, hopeful vision for the future of our country.

But just as President Joe Biden was and is a puppet whose strings were pulled, Ms. Harris is a trainable clockwork puppet in the hands of dangerous actors. Where Ms. Harris lacks the capacity to inject radical practices and policies, you can be sure that someone in her inner circle will quietly step in.

That is why it is so important that Americans understand that Harris isn't just perceived as a candidate with a terrible record, but that she is exactly what the left needs to continue and even accelerate the destruction of America that the Obama-Biden administration has wrought. And she can win.

Over the past three and a half years, and for years before that, Harris' actions have contradicted many of the points she made last night. As former President Donald Trump put it so succinctly in his response to the speech, if Harris really wanted to address the most pressing issues, she would have already done so with a Biden-Harris administration. Heartbreaking statistics These are a complete failure of this administration and a betrayal of the American people.

Listening to Harris' speech last night, it quickly became clear that it fit the overall atmosphere of the four-day Democratic National Convention — a cacophony of scripted, insincere voices. Hours of forced emotion, robotic readings of awkward teleprompter speeches, a performance that was all choreographed, carefully staged like a nightmarish theater with no improvisation or authenticity whatsoever. This was the exact opposite of what America is all about.

Despite the dishonesty that led to Harris' speech, it's still possible that what we just saw will become reality for the next four years.

Will every American fact-check everything Harris says? Probably not. Harris will say anything to get elected. Last night, she was prepared, polished and energized. She is radical, but trainable. This is exactly why Harris and her work are dangerous.

We know there are strategists and operatives on the left who will stop at nothing to help Harris beat Trump, and the reason is simple: Trump is the only person standing in the way of the radical left wanting to destroy this country.

The reality is that Biden has been a patently inconsistent candidate and completely incapable of communicating any kind of message over the past few years. Leading up to his disastrous debate performances, many Democrats had finally reached the point where they were willing to step back and seriously consider whether they should vote for Biden when, objectively, Trump was the better, more capable candidate and had brought prosperity and hope to the country.

Last night we witnessed a con artist who could actually become president of the United States. Do not underestimate Kamala Harris' electability.
