‘Not Going To Stop Us’: Pam Bondi Says Illegal Immigrants Can No Longer Bank On Liberal Judges After SCOTUS Ruling

U.S. Attorney General Pam Bondy said Tuesday that the Supreme Court’s “groundbreaking ruling” on deportation officially prevented leftist judges from seizing control of President Donald Trump’s efforts.

In a 5-4 decision, the Supreme Court threw an order by Obama’s appointee, U.S. District Court Judge James Boasberg, to prevent the use of alien enemy laws to deport more than 200 members of Trendegua to El Salvador. Congratulating the High Court’s decision, Bondi said on “Fox & Friends” that these liberal judges no longer have the authority to interfere in the administration’s deportation.

“These liberal district judges thought they had control over our country-wide policies. [and] Bondi said Donald Trump’s policy of keeping America safe. These terrorists, they are foreign terrorists, they are the alien enemies of our country and we will continue to exile them. We keep America safe and liberal district judges are not going to stop us. That’s what the Supreme Court ruled yesterday. ” (Related: “Reassignment soon”: Trump administrator wants Judge Obama to block deportation launched from the case)

The Alien Enemy Act of 1798 allows the president to deport individuals in certain circumstances without appearing before an immigrant judge, and raises the question of whether Trump has the authority to use this act to deport these individuals. The flight was already on its way to El Salvador, but Boasberg ordered a March 17 ruling to reverse the deportation flight.

White House Press Secretary Caroline Leavitt I said The administration did not violate the ruling as the plane was already outside of US territory.

The Supreme Court order states that gang members will be “subject to removal” under the alien enemy law. Judge Sonia Sotomayor, Elena Kagan, Amy Connie Barrett and Ketanji Brown Jackson objected.

“AEA detainees must receive notice after the date of this order that they will be removed under the law,” the court order states. “Notice must be provided within a reasonable time and in such a way that allows actual habeas protection to be sought in the appropriate venue.”

Bondi also commented on Boasberg’s scheduled hearing at 3pm EDT on Tuesday.

“[Boasberg] He has not cancelled the hearing, so he continues his hearing. But the Supreme Court speaks loudly and clearly. He has no jurisdiction. That flight will remain in El Salvador, those prisoners, members of violent gangs, those violent alien enemies, in El Salvador,” Bondy said. Therefore, his jurisdiction has ended. So we’ll see what he’s saying today at 3pm, but from now on, these terrorists will look outside. ”
