Fox News White House correspondent Peter Doocy asked National Security Council spokesman John Kirby during a Tuesday press conference why the Biden administration is allowing immigrants to enter the country illegally.
Doocy referenced the Supreme Court's ruling Monday that federal authorities can remove razor wire installed by the state of Texas. “Why make it easier for people to enter the country illegally?” Doocy asked.
“We're not,” Kirby replied.
Doocy then pointed to lawsuits surrounding border severing.
“Well, you guys filed a lawsuit to cut the razor wire that Texas officials put in place,” Doocy said.
“That means the Border Patrol can actually carry out its mission, but it can continue to operate,” Kirby said.
