Pima County Sheriff’s Department fires sergeant accused in sex assault

A Pima County Sheriff’s Department sergeant, who was accused of sexually assaulting a colleague during a house party in December, was formally fired from the department on Tuesday.

Since then, lab reports have been received, adding further evidence to the case.
