‘Please Don’t’: Joe Scarborough, Mika Brzezinski Argue Over Using Swear Word To Describe Trump

Married MSNBC anchors Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski got into an altercation Thursday over the use of foul language when describing former President Donald Trump.

Scarborough and Brzezinski reportedly briefed on former Trump chief of staff John Kelly inform The Washington Post said the former president is “absolutely not scared” of the 37 indictments that have been filed over possession of classified documents. Ms Brzezinski requested her husband not directly quote Ms Kelly during her broadcast.

“We don’t like swearing on this show, but we’ll put it in quotes,” Scarborough began.

“No, Joe, no, no, no,” said Brzezinski.

“If Aristotle said so, Kelly would have said so,” Scarborough pushed back.

“Can I quote you again?” he asked.

“No, really—” she began.

“Now you are—” he began.

“For my part, please stop,” she said.

Scarborough then quoted Kelly directly against her wishes. Brzezinski seemed unhappy with her husband’s use of direct language.

“I don’t have one,” she said.

“I’m a journalist,” he said.

“No, it’s not,” she pushed back.

“We have to report what’s in the news,” he said.

President Trump faces 31 counts of violating the Espionage Act, specifically willfully possessing national security information. He has also been charged with “conspiracy to obstruct justice.” One of his cases of “holding of documents or records.” He has one count of fraudulent concealment of documents or records. 1 charge of ‘concealment of documents in postponement of investigation’. One of the “cover-up plans”. And one case of “false statements and representations.”
