RAMIREZ: China Has Hit A New Low: Rewriting The Bible

The CCP, one of the world’s worst violators of human rights and religious freedom, has taken its gross human rights violations to a new level. No longer satisfied with torturing innocent religious believers in prison camps and “re-educating” them in communist doctrines, the CCP is now attempting to: rewrite And it completely changes the teaching of Christ.

This is not the first time the CCP has targeted Christians and religious groups. Just last year, the world watched in horror as the Chinese government persecuted Uyghur Muslims and put them in extermination camps.

Earlier this year, the Chinese government imposed fines of more than 50 million yen. 400,000 yuan About a Christian pastor who refused to affiliate with a state-sanctioned church. Instead of allowing religious groups to operate freely, the state added them to a register and now controls the scriptures they preach.

Communism is essentially a political theory that says: object The existence of organized religion. One thing the Chinese Communist Party has so far failed to recognize is the idea that all men, women and children should be given equal opportunities for freedom of thought, conscience and belief, and that is our stereotype.

The Chinese Communist Party’s latest move raises the question why the party rewrites the Bible if it doesn’t believe in God.

The answer is simple. The CCP is so afraid of free will and religious belief that it takes on the role of God to further manipulate those who seek the meaning of life outside the Party. If the millions of Chinese citizens are still willing to practice their religion despite the government’s efforts to stop them, the government has no choice but to try to get them to worship them instead of God.

We’ve seen this before. Countries such as North Korea, Iraq and Iran are victims of this theory. According to their leaders, the ayatollahs were personally chosen by God to lead the reclusive nation of Iran. Kim Il-sung and his sons imposed the Juche idea and forced the people to worship them as spiritual gods. Saddam Hussein ruled Iraq with the same idea that God anointed him to rule Iraq forever. And so did the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS), forcing people to adopt extremist ideologies or face brutal killings.

In recent years, the world has witnessed the erosion of global leadership on religious freedom. With leadership inadequate in the United States and around the world, dictators like Xi Jinping are stepping up efforts to silence political dissidents and attack the innate nature of humanity.

Places like Iraq have seen decades of tyrannical rule. After his downfall, religious extremists attacked Christian and Muslim minorities in the region. Now, because of our work, Iraq has a bright future, new leadership, and stronger protections for religious freedom for all, not just the majority.

China can and must do the same. Our leaders must have the moral courage to stand up in the face of adversity and defend the right of all religious groups to worship together freely. There is no greater threat to mankind than a systematic attack on religious liberty, and no greater interference than changing the words of Scripture.

By altering the text to include rhetoric that Jesus sinned and condemned the sins of Western civilization, the CCP seeks to change the understanding of Christian scriptures. But one thing is certain, the Chinese Communist Party may try to change the text of the Bible, but it cannot change the meaning of the Bible.
