“He controls the past and controls the future,” said video game villain Kane in Commander and Conquer: Red Alert. If you prefer quotes from more rare sources, I think George Orwell said something very similar.
This is a principle that the left wing understood from the beginning. Rewrite the past and write about the future. The past must be shaped to meet the current demands of the service of a dreamlike utopian.
The founders of Marxism, Karl Marx and Friedrich Engels, reminded us of a primitive population at the dawn of human history – the society in which women ruled the roosts, family was absent. There was no class or male domination – to justify the claims about dialectics and pre-history claims: Despite the claims made by Marx and Engels about the existence of primitive patriarchy, there is no evidence that such a society exists or perhaps can be done before. Classicists, historians, and anthropologists all came into view – and nothing was found. it doesn’t matter. (Sign up for a daily caller patriot subscription! )
Unspecified – October 21: (Editor’s note: Withholding due to security concerns.) Workers using plasma torches cut off the head of the bronze memorial of General Robert E. Lee of the Civil War that had melted in Charlottesville, Virginia before it had melted at the casting site on October 21, 2023. As part of the “Swords Into Plowshares” project, the statue melted with the intention of using metal to create new public artwork. (Photo by EzeAmos/Getty Images)
Today, Marx and Engels heirs continue their attempts to forge history towards the same goal. They seek to undermine the confidence of ordinary people in the current regime by opposing their ancestors and their ideals, and raise them question their very identity.
This is a cultural revolution that leads to a social revolution. It is often referred to as “cultural Marxism,” to distinguish it from the strictly economic doctrine that once prevailed. After the class revolution failed to prove contagious beyond Russia, it became clear that special measures were needed to overturn the prosperous, confident countries in the West, and almost most of America. These special measures are currently underway for most of the century.
The new Trump administration, naturally, targeted tampering with American history in the first few months. If it dislikes itself and its ideals, wouldn’t America be able to grow much bigger again?
Last week, President Trump signed an executive order call, among other things, to seek a federal review of monuments that were removed for political correctness by the Biden administration, particularly after the death of George Floyd.
According to orderit deserves to be quoted at length:
Over the past decade, Americans have witnessed a coordinated and broader effort to rewrite the history of our country, replacing objective facts with distorted stories driven by ideology rather than truth. The revisionist movement aims to undermine the remarkable US outcomes by casting its founding principles and historical milestones from a negative standpoint. Under this historical revision, our country’s unparalleled legacy of advancing freedom, individual rights and human happiness is rebuilt as essentially racist, sexist, oppressive, or irreparably flawed. Rather than fostering unity and deeper understanding of our shared past, our broad efforts to rewrite history deepen social division, promote a sense of shame for our people, ignore the ideals that continue to inspire America’s progress and millions of people around the world.
The President ordered the removal of “inappropriate ideology” from all Smithsonian facilities and directed the Ministry of Home Affairs to determine “public monuments, memorials, statues, markers or similar property.” This appears to serve as a prelude to restoration of monuments, statues and other monuments that have been removed or changed. Most, but not all, are associated with the Confederate forces and men, such as General Robert E. Lee.
Trump has long been opposed to the removal of Confederate monuments and has received more than his considerable criticism for doing so. His intervention in 2017 over the proposed removal of Lee’s statue in Charlottesville, Virginia, produced one of the most shameful media manipulations of his political career. It was said that Trump praised “neo-Nazis” as “good people.” He did nothing of sorting.
At this stage, the scope of recovery may be limited. Almost 170 Confederate Monuments It was removed after Floyd’s summer, but few people were on federal lands. In other words, it is not subject to the executive order. That includes a statue of General Lee of Charlottesville.
Definitely: Lee is the recovery he needs to aim for. That statue represents more of a battle for American history over the past decade than any other statue, and if Trump wants to make a truly bold statement about his intention to protect American history from further vandalism, he will make the statue his focus and he will make sure it comes back. (Related: Trump’s order to return the deleted monuments dismantled during the Biden era)
As we have learned, there are ways and means, like the deportation of foreign gang members to Venezuela, in the first three months of Trump’s second presidency. A little creativity and careful application of pressure can make extraordinary things happen. The same applies here.
Of course, Trump’s enemies will get mad. Margaret Fan, president of the Southern Poverty Law Center, has already been I said“We will not allow this administration to restore monuments representing threats, oppression and violence.” But what have they been able to do. Really do? Do you protest? That’s not a particularly frightening prospect anymore. These people are angry anyway. Lather them, screaming and tearing some remaining patches of dyed hair.
It was not enough for General Lee to remove the statue for what was represented by the left-handed madman, misfit and villain. It had to be destroyed. The gloomy image of Lee’s face as the process of destruction was filmed and melted in the blast furnace has become an incredible symbol of dignity and power. One meme I saw moved me to tears – and I’m not even an American.
The statue of Lee ultimately became a truly terrifying public art called “Sword to the Sword,” intended to promote the victory of the anti-American cultural revolution. Imagine President Trump’s Drek melted and recast as General Lee. Imagine the message you send – it’s time to change the Plowsher return For a sword. Isn’t that all the messages of his presidency?
This is not the time of peace. America has been killed and must be saved.
