Singer Celine Dion on Saturday slammed former President Donald Trump's campaign for using her hit song “My Heart Will Go On” without permission at a recent rally in Bozeman, Montana.
The Canadian singer, known for her powerful ballads, took to social media to complain about the “unauthorized” use of her music.
Dion's management team and record label, Sony Music Entertainment Canada, said they had not authorized Trump to use the song at the event. “Such use is not authorized in any manner and Celine Dion does not endorse this or any similar use,” the statement read.

The song was part of the Titanic soundtrack.
The Trump campaign has yet to respond to Dion's statement, which is the latest in a string of artists – including Rihanna, Axl Rose, the Rolling Stones and Neil Young – to oppose the campaign's use of their music at rallies and other events. The Hollywood Reporter.
In May 2023, the Village People sent a cease-and-desist letter to the Trump campaign after a band dressed as the group used its songs “Macho Man” and “YMCA” without permission during the candidate's events.
“Accordingly, this performance has caused, and will continue to cause, public confusion as to why The Village People put on such a performance, which we did not,” the letter said.
The Daily Caller reached out to the Trump campaign for comment but did not receive a response.
