Vice President Kamala Harris is fighting a time bomb, hoping it doesn't explode before November.
The Biden-Harris administration will introduce the Inflation Control Act (IRAThe proposed Medicaid Act is expected to mean an end to the inflation problem in the United States. The bill was supposed to help solve some economic problems, such as capping Medicare beneficiaries' out-of-pocket drug costs. However, Medicare beneficiaries will now experience a significant increase in their monthly premiums to make up for the loss of benefits due to the mandatory cap on out-of-pocket drug costs.

The last thing Harris wants in an election year is to see monthly costs rise for millions of Americans after passing her IRA bill by a tie-vote in the Senate (the average bid for Part D plans is expected to triple). To keep premiums artificially low and allow Harris to avoid “potential voter backlash,” the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (Content Management System) announced on July 30 that it would subsidize premiums with taxpayer money, Fox News reported. “They've destroyed Part D premiums,” former Trump adviser Joe Grogan said in an interview with Fox News Digital. “I don't know if it would stand up to legal scrutiny if someone sued. Objectively, this shouldn't be done. They're just withholding $5 billion to $10 billion of taxpayer money at a cost to taxpayers 85 days before an election. It's disgusting.”
“It's going to get even worse in 2025, 2026,” Grogan continued. “The program is in a death spiral. They announced a three-year demo, and it's already failed. The demo is going to fail. “They just want to get through the election,” Grogan added. “They're hopeful they'll be able to address the issues after the election, but they need to address them over the next 12 to 18 months. They didn't expect it to get this bad, and it's only going to get worse.”
Update: Great inflation report. Annual inflation fell to 2.9% in July, the first time it has fallen below 3% since the start of 2021.

Grogan is not the only one sounding the alarm. Health research group Paragon Health Institute said: It is called The CMS taxpayer subsidy is a “giant bailout to insurance companies to disguise the increased costs of Inflation Control Act (IRAs) plans.” The group said the CMS plan is a “false, costly demonstration” to taxpayers, who are expected to foot 75 percent of the increased costs. Harris is hoping that millions of Americans on Medicare will not realize or understand that the taxpayer subsidy that keeps their health care costs down is only temporary. She wants to minimize the bleeding so she can continue her campaign, but this measure will not solve the big problems in the Social Security system. Once the election is over and Harris wins, the problems will only get worse, which won't be a problem for Harris, but it will be a big problem for Americans who are already suffering from the economic policies of her administration.
