South Central Pima County in southeastern Arizona...
Northwestern Santa Cruz County in southeastern Arizona...

* Until 545 PM MST.

* At 240 PM MST, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing
heavy rain across the warned area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain
have fallen. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
shortly.

HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms
producing flash flooding.

IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams,
urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses.

* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
Arivaca and Arivaca Lake.

This includes the following Flash Flood Prone Locations...
Arivaca Rd from Arivaca Junction & HWY 286.

This includes Route 286 between mile markers 11 and 24...and
between mile markers 26 and 28.

This includes the following streams and drainages...
Cerro Prieto Wash, San Luis Wash, Sopori Wash, Puertocito Wash,
Thomas Canyon Wash, Little Thomas Wash, Altar Wash, Cedar Creek,
Guijas Wash, Las, Yellow Jacket Wash, Champurrado Wash, Lopez
Wash, Peitas Wash, Fraguita Wash, Moras Wash, Las, Seco, Arroyo,
Santa Margarita Wash, Arivaca Creek, Bolas Blancas Wash, Papalote
Wash, Saucito Wash and Brown Wash.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads.
